Bella and Jacob had been friends since they were kids, but when Bella moved to Phoenix with her mom when her parents divorced, they grew apart. Now that Bella is back in Forks, she and Jacob have gotten close again.
Now they have gotten even closer than just being friends. Jacob knows he's in love with Bella and he thinks she feels the same, but even though he loves her, he still can't tell her his biggest secret. That he's a werewolf. He wants to tell her, but its against the rules of the pack and he's also afraid of how she'd take it. He doesn't know what to do but he hopes he figures it out soon.
