1500 years ago, the Volturi and the Romanian Coven had a massive battle, fighting for supremacy over the Vampire world. Instead, both covens were decimated, none left alive on either side. The vampires were left without any leaders, and lived in chaos. Most tried merely to keep their presence hidden from the humans. Others made their existence known, but these stories have long been written off as legends.
In the present day, In Phoenix, Arizona, Bella Swan is leaving her mother to live with her father in Forks, Washington. Unknown to her, and the other residents of Forks, vampires are coming in droves. They are tired of the anarchy that rules over their kind, and now seek a new leader, and are looking to the largest coven in existence-The Cullens. But will the Cullens want this new responsibility? And with so many vampires around Forks, how long will it be before someone takes notice?
